Who here has been to therapy and how did it go? What were your issues?
I had a bad experience with it and am disillusioned with the field. I have "issues" that everyone says you should get therapy for but it was like seeing a witch doctor, only humiliating to my soul.
i tried a few before landing with a jungian therapist. it also really depends on the person you get, as with just about anything else.
it helped me so much. i really helped me get over my anxieties and envies and angers. it was 5 years of once a week and i would recommend it to anybody.
behavioural therapy is frustrating and freudian psychoanalysts are useless in my experience. gestalt therapy is a fucking meme.

The therapies I've tried didn't work, when I finally got to see a psychiatrist, he gave me drugs that kinda helped to not want to kill myself but I don't feel any different, besides not wanting to kill myself.
