Im med student, my dad is MD and I think meds deserve respect only because their job is stressfull thats all. Diagnosis is only following the algorithm scheme you have to remember.
Tbh I went for medicine only because I feel an urge to help people (probably because inside I need help too). All you have to do is memorise stuff, I respect a lot ChemE, NuclearE and EE students.
Why anyone on this board would want to go into medicine and save normie lives, I have no idea.
