Using no empiricism, only rationalism, tell me, could there have been an infinite amount of time before the present?
If there was we would never find ourselves in the present.
But the universe is timeless. You know that right?
Change only has significance to an observer. Without change there is no time.
Amount refers to something empirical. Please rephrase your question in rational terms only.

OP here, so why wouldn't we ever find ourselves in the present if there was an infinite amount of time before the present?
I know why I just want to see if you know the correct reason.

Physical entities are only real in that they manifest as qualia. Understand?
Without the conscious self, there is nothing to be changed. The self is the beginning and end of the world.

nope
Time passes. Concept of "time" being infinite does not mean none passes.
Things change, regardless of your acknowledgement it. Whether it is of personal significance or not doesn't mean it hasn't changed.
A rock can be weathered down - it doesn't effect me, but it has been changed. I don't need to be aware of it, a rock cannot be aware of itself, but it can change regardless. People change behavior, whether they are aware of their own change or not does not negate it.
