We would sneak knives from our houses to whittle sticks and make weaponry to fight imaginary beasts. We had a barter system in place so we could buy berries and slices if bread. That time has long passed

I was at my happiest before nature/biology forced me to become attracted to females.
17, junior year of high school. so about 3 years ago
I had just started working a job, got my drivers license and a car, was getting good grades, made a lot of friends, saved a ton of money, wasn't into hard drugs yet, and my parents were proud of me. life was fulfilling and I thought I was on a good path. I actually had interests and things that I cared about.
I didn't have a very active social life like I do now, but I was happy. I woke up each day with optimism.
