If an able-bodied man wants to die and has the money to pay for it, why shouldn't a doctor be able to put him down?

>having another man do your job for you

Not the doctor's job, shouldn't be either. Still, we should make a profession out of it.

Nobody can force the doctor to perform that service, obviously.

It's the opposite of what the doctor vows to do his profession. It is better for that able-bodied man to off himself with his own hand.
just go jump off a bridge

So why can't people get the chemicals they'd need for suicide with the known intent that they're for suicide anyway?
It goes against the Hippocratic oath.

They can in some states in the US. It's legal for doctors to prescribe seconal in Oregon and Washington, which is primarily used for suicide. Good luck convincing them to prescribe it to you without a debilitating terminal disease though.

but some people are disabled and cant do it, and others are liable to just make their lives worse with a botched suicide attempt
doctors already perform abortions, to prevent women from having to resort to coathangers, etc., why can't doctors also be allowed to specialize in assisted euthanasia?
If your an able bodied man, throw yourself off a bridge.
