>haven't been able to sleep in the dark for 3 weeks now
Fuck sake. All because I for some reason hallucinated a woman with a veil on looking all sad at me while literally sitting on the side of my bed. She also happened to look golden and bright.
After about 4 seconds of staring at the thing I leant up and started randomly grabbing out at it, then laid back and it was still there. So I busted out my laptop for light and it started to "swirl" away.
It wasn't even that terrifying really, but the thought of something even more sinister popping up get me to no end. Has anyone else ever had this, you know without having psychosis? I haven't seen anything since.

I don't take anything, all I do is drink alcohol.
probably a hypnagogic allucination
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hallucination
>Hypnagogic hallucinations and hypnopompic hallucinations are considered normal phenomena. Hypnagogic hallucinations can occur as one is falling asleep and hypnopompic hallucinations occur when one is waking up.
relax bruv
it's probably sleep paralysis
I had one similar where my old hot english teacher (like damn wish it was a dream where I banged her) was laying on my bed next to me when I woke up, but she was in psychedelic colours and the room was strobing. then I blinked/closed my eyes for a second and she disappeared and I woke up.

sleep paralysis has a very distinct feeling.
it's probably a hypnagogic hallucination

You should of said hi to her or something. Maybe it was a nice ghost and would of been your friend.
>tfw had problems sleeping and being alone when I was a small child (too small for me to remember)
>apparently used to tell my parents I heard voices and saw things frequently
>hippie "spiritual" side of family believes I'm very sensitive, even psychic
>literally had dreams predicting very very simple things of the next day
>started turning on a small lamp and radio when I finally got my own room
>eventually turned into full blown lights on and radio barely quieter than regular volume
>tfw haven't slept in the dark alone in literally 10 or so years
>still get weird feelings
>still have dreams that occasionally predict incredibly mundane things in the future
>only very very rarely hear voices noice
