I just enjoyed a veggie burger on a potato roll and a fat free blueberry yogurt for dinner. Will probably cut a kiwi up for dessert before I get to bed.

OP here, we're kind of the same. I put on 25~ish lbs since August. Had a fuckton of junk and shit from Christmas until new year. Then on the 2nd I looked at myself in the mirror and just fucking frowned.

My tip is drink a fuckton of water. No sugary drinks, not even diet drinks. Just water water water. Drink a ton before you eat and after, you'll feel fuller for longer and start to lose the will to eat as much.

You need to eat a bit to keep your metabolism going. Hunt down some high-nutrition, low-calorie foods and nibble on them throughout the day. Your body needs minerals to help along the burning of fat, so keep that tank topped up.

Also, tea. A nice mug of hot tea can curb hunger for a bit, plus if you find one you like it is just all-around enjoyable at this time of year.

Have no idea, been trying to get a decent set of scales. I'm estimating about 15-17 stone at 6"1'. And no cheat days, although this has only been going on since a few days after Christmas, I think that's what triggered it.

1. Stop drinking things that aren't water. Throw out your soda, your juice, your everything. Drink water like a fucking maniac. If you're hungry and it's not time to eat, drink water until you're full. To ween off sugary drinks, eat half a grapefruit. They're filling and juicy, two birds one stone.

2. Eat less. It's that simple. Eating 1000~ cals a day will make you lose weight without even having to exercise. And no, 1000 cals of devil dogs doesn't count. You can google good weight loss foods yourself, since we all have different taste. I personally enjoy yogurt and chicken.

3. Be active. Just go for a walk everyday/basic crunches or pushups, do something to get moving. You need to do this if you want real results quickly. It makes you feel better and more importantly look better.

Always, anon. You just have to find a way that works for you. I've seen people make my kind of progress in much less time because they were more dedicated. This was definitely a passive way for me to lose weight, I would do random body weight exercises but nothing rigorous and no scheduled exercise.

That's nice and all, veggies are good for you and are filled with great nutrients, but if you Just want to lose weight don't restrict yourself. You can eat 1500 calories of cake or 1500 calories of veggies and you'll still lose weight, so long as you are eating 500 calories less in a day.

That's true for weight loss but not for nutrition. If your eating plan is 1500 calories per day then you have 1500 calories per day to package in all the nutrition your body needs

You'll lose weight eating 1500 calories of cake every day but you're going to be sick as shit. Eat them veggies and chicken, and if you have cals left over go for that cake then.

I went crazy and went vegetarian in August. I've also been watching what I'm eating and cook at home more. I also do a workout video at least every other day.

I've lost 35 pounds, I'm 230.

I've also saved so much fucking money since going vegetarian plus cooking at home holy shit. It's more because I never go out to eat anymore cause I live in flyover land and I'm not paying 15 dollars for a salad at a chain restaurant I'll have to pick the meat out of.

I'm still depressed as all fucking hell but I'm not stopping. Hopefully one day I finally wake up not feeling like I wish I didn't wake up.

-fish (polyunsaturated fats)
-natural/organic peanut butter/almond butter (monounsaturated fats) [avoid the commercial shit with hydrogenated oils in them]
-avocados (polyunsaturated fats)
-nuts such as almonds (both mono and poly fats)

These fats dont stay in your system, and actually removes the fat stored in your body.

And drink water. No sugar drinks. If you want some flavor, buy one of those little bottles that gives water flavor. Make sure it has 0 everything though.
