Well surely owning about 15 instruments means you got good enough at music to play a couple. I have played piano since I can remember. Guitar since I was 16 (11 years), drums 6 years. Done 5 years in college and uni for music. The guys here have heard me play and we often talked about uni. I was going to play on a song with a guy who used to post here. If you can play hendrix it's a lot more impressive than creating a song that sounds like coldplay. I have wrote songs but I don't consider it talent, it's not hard to do so. You may some time in future. When I am playing for the right reasons. I played for the Rose guys because when the instrument was on my lap it was in my heart. When the piano was under my fingers humour was in my heart, hence the mario theme tune, if you play piano you know what level of talent it takes to learn mario. I have going and performing concerts because the audience doesn't know anything. I go down well most the time but to some people you are invisible if you aren't the lead singer. I had people talk to the singer saying he was great then I say, yeah, I was there too, and worked for 11 years to do what I do. At concerts I seen people not even knowing the band they were seeing, their friend got 3 tickets and just gave them to friends not worthy of sold out tickets. I seen guns n' roses in 2007 and there was someone being told who the band was, they laughed at the word slash and the name axl rose, they didn't even know the name of the band, they were told the songs, they didn't even know the shit ones everyone usually has as a ringtone or any of that vacuous shit that kill me on the inside.

I was made the singer in a few bands for being the only one that could sing while playing, my range and the notes I hit, opening your mouth isn't hard. The heart they sing with is no more real to me than their dancing. Dancing being another problem. Clapton doesn't have to move an inch on stage. The camera never has to follow roy orberson. They get by on their looks and fall back on knowing their audience has the attention span of a nat and doing something to keep their eyes busy.
