Meaning he is everywhere you look. God is the universe. This sounds logical but when you understand and feel it everything becomes a miracle
I stopped caring as much about what people thought of me as a result of lengthy meditations on the ego. The moment it finally occurred to me that the ego wasn't all there was to me, I felt liberated, elated, and very happy. Things seemed very clear and vibrant.

I was psychotic for a while. Had a lot of symptoms, including Catatonia (slow thoughts/immobility), depersonalization (kind of like out of body experience), and derealization(feeling like the world around you is not real). Do those count?

I was in a coma and woke up with DID and false memories. Completely different personality and identity as I'm told. It's been years and it still hasn't gone away.

Sure, the DP was really like an out of body experience for me, it was like I was watching myself in a movie doing things, but it was like a wasn't doing it, it was someone else. I still had control over everything of course, but it was like the parts that controlled that vs the parts that perceived what was going on around me were separated so it all felt like a movie.
The DR...I don't know how to describe it really, everything just felt novel and unreal I guess.i felt immobile and like I was just watching the world go buy but I don't know how much of that is dr and how much is Catatonia. Can't really explain it well.
Neither was a very fun experience.

It wasn't meditation in the eastern sense, it was an intellectualized understanding of it. Basically just analysis of what things bothered me, why they bothered me, and what was the component of my being that was bothered. At the root, there was nothing. These were just weird reactions my brain had to things that posed no actual threat to me, I was getting worked up over nothing; it revealed a severe underlying psychosis present in the human condition that I'm still working to overcome. I might engage in eastern meditation practices to further progress.
After a very severe depressive episode where I was on the verge of suicide I started reading more philosophy, buddhism and taoism. It kind of merged together to give me a completely new mindset towards life any myself.

I was a young suburban "save the everything" wannabe-anarchist who had never left my own country.
I joined this college social studies program where they bring you down to a third-world country and you spend a month with host families.
On our second day there, we all packed onto a Jesus school bus and headed off to a giant landfill in the middle of the capital, there was dozens of multi-generational families living there in huts made of tine and cardboard surrounded by huge mountains of burning garbage. We saw pictures and movies of it, but to be in it with all your senses is something else.
We then spent the rest of our days with dirt farmers, shitting in holes in the ground & getting water from other holes in the ground and learning about the country's past & present.
It's worth noting that since I was staying in people's huts with no privacy, this almost meant a month of nofap, and these people watched almost nothing on TV except for these sort of music videos.

Also we were only 4 guys and 20-something girls in the entire program.
By the end of the entire trip, I came to realize that I can't save the entire world and I need to save myself first before anything else. People are people everywhere and there is no single cure-all ideology whether it's capitalism or socialism or anarchism. Before that I was "save Tibet save Palestine save the animals smash the state, etc." and thought that I could change everything. It flipped my perception of the world quite literally overnight even though the trip was a month long.
Also nofap is a source of secret power.
