Anyone use Tinder?
Started yesterday and have 40 matches. It's a nice confidence boost.
Everyone has 'not looking for casual hookups' in profile though. I thought it was specifically designed for casual stuff.
Legends say some people manage to get laid with this app, but I'm skeptical.

See, there's a 13-17 side of tinder. Until recently I was 17. Every time I would go to a city and swipe right again and again I'd check the app a few hours later to see I'd made over 50 matches
When I'd stay in the countryside I'd roughly make 4 or 5 matches a day.
Now, a few weeks after I've turned 18, I get maybe a few matches a week.
Do the 18+ women want better written bios? Or better looking men?
My guess is that when I was 17, 15-17 yr olds would all be fine with matching me.
As an 18 yr old, most of the people tinder shows me are now women in their 20s. And it's very rare for young women to like even younger guys.
So yeah, tinder's basically gonna suck for me until I'm older.

I think that's the whole idea. It uses FB photos so you're less likely to fake it. I dont have it but I think thats how it works.

Afaik you can only swipe right on about 100 girls and then wait for 12h. OP is implying 1/4 of all girls swiped right on him - I wouldn't even believe so many of the girls he swiped right would happen to use the App daily.
Anyway, I have the app for a month and met 3 girls. Two were fat and one had a child. Got a bj from a fatty, but given the time I put into conversations with about 20 girls, I guess, over this month, it wasn't worth it.

Therein lies your problem. I've got 126 matches right now, in just over a month. Most of them are fat. You won't get the hot ones or even the average ones as they have so many guys to cherry pick from. Even if you do get matched with an average girl, the chances are she won't respond, as she probably swiped you thinking "meh, he's alright, maybe.." and not "oh wow, hello, Chad!".
Lower your standards, it's the key.

If you look good enough to get matches with average girls, you look good enough to be successful in real life.
Drop the app, it's just an ego boost for girls anyway and hit real life. In real life you can use dress style, aura, personality and tone of voice to help you and not just pictures.

I don't think the majority of females use tinder for casual sex. I think females use tinder because their friends do AKA they are followers. They like attention/validation, and want to know how many guys would fuck them. The minority would be using it for sex.
I think men primarily use it for sex. Unless you are a chad, you won't get any.
Experiment. Have two profiles with identical bios. One with a chad and the other as the real you. The chad won't need to msg women first.

If you go to a bar alone, and you're not some kind of 11/10 Chad, I find it very hard to see how you would pick up chicks.
The most common way I've seen it happening, is where a group of my friends meet with another group or groups with some familiar people, but also some people who are unfamiliar. Typically the guys will end up getting with the unfamiliar chicks, or vice versa.
