I never thought about this until now. I always floss last, but first sounds like it makes more sense.

Interesting question actually. Depends on the origin of teeth; if they were originally sparse (came as a group), then 'proto-dental' animals probably rather, if anything, flossed them; if they originally came as a continuous ridge that was only then indented, then they rather brushed tem as a whole. Any ichthyologist protozoologist or something?
