Nothing terribly interesting or exciting, I was just a really bad partner, didn't treat her very well, I was very career focused at the time and she always took a backseat in my life (something I didn't realise until it was too late).
The irony is I'm the one who broke up with her, I thought I didn't have feelings for her anymore. Turns out I had just buried them for so long that I wasn't aware they were there, until after the breakup when they all rose to the surface in a 'Oh God, what have I done?' moment. By then it was too late.

I dated an alt girl once.
When I met her, she had half of her head shaved, and wore slightly punky clothes. But nothing too over the top. I remember telling me that she was thinking about getting some body mods, like her tongue split or her ears pointed or something. She instead just got an industrial piercing and dyed her hair blue.
Started dating anyway. Very quickly I started realizing that the things I had heard about alt girls were very true. She was conceited and vapid. She was always looking for the spotlight, and loved people pointing out her hair and other shit. Problem was we went to college together for the same thing. When she realized that I was basically way fucking better than she was at what we were doing (Because I fucking actually did my work), problems started.
She began finding crazier ways to draw my attention away from work. Telling me tales of how she was raped, and how people were cyber bullying her. I tried to be supportive, but I was obviously leery to all of this. She would pick fights with me that made no sense. She once got pissed at me that I didn't have sex with her one night. She really fucking dug the emotional rollercoaster, and didn't care which part of it she was on.
It lasted about 3 months before she decided to interrupt me while I was doing homework. She demanded that she come over to yell at me about something (Can't remember what it was). I told her to stay at home, because I was busy. She came anyway. And during her dumbass fifteen minute walk, prepared absolutely nothing. When I came downstairs (I lived on residence), she claimed she had nothing to say. So I dumped her ass on the spot quickly.
The night ended with her breaking into residence and being forcefully removed.
I wish these millenial alt girls weren't fucking trash. I know its not all of them, but most are textbook cases of attention whores.
