Does anybody here have "that year" that year that you would give anything in the world to go back to? It's as if everything was perfect despite it's flaws. (I'm fully aware of the oxymoron.) I feel ever since Smartphones have gained in popularity that society in general has been going to shit. The internet has become stale with the exception of a 2 or 3 good website. Hate talking to people because they look at their phone screen every waking second. Less OC is be uploaded to YouTube and the internet.
Though I would gladly go back as far as I could (to relive as much of my childhood as possible, the only stage of life I was decent at) I think my life peaked in 1997 desu. The N64 came out which probably started my full-scale descent into nerd mania though it felt so good, and the Cleveland Indians were good as fuck, though not good enough. Couldn't ask for more

Smartphones and apps like facebook, pof, meetme, etc are a lot of the reason I'm able to score booty and drugs.
I kind of have a crippling disease so I'd end up in the same place regardless of I did things over, I'd just do more drugs and score more booty.

2009 (June onwards) was pretty good. It was the only time ever that my (then) oneitis was into me.

Yes. 1998. That was the best year of my life. 1999, 2000 and 2001 were all amazing too, but it started going downhill from 2002 onwards, and now we have 2016 which is going to be the worst year so far.

Yep, 2005. My Family was really getting close to this other family whose Dad met my Dad through work, and then my sister was in an acting class with those two girls. I liked one of them so much, her name was Hallie.
Doubt if I'll ever feel like that again, I was 9, I remember the first time they came to my house I was playing Spongebob battle of bikini bottom and then I spied on them.

Start of a few years (2012 - 2014) where I had friends and even a girl interested in me. Sure I have a better job and more money now, but my social and love lives are complete shit.

Not really, I don't want to go back to being a silly little kid, teen years were complete shit and since then things have been improving bit by bit. So I'd rather see what the next few years bring.

00s were also very comfy for some reason, maybe it's because those were my teen years but I miss them ,everything after 07 has been shit and gradually getting worse

1998 actually felt genuine to me, but nowadays nothing feels real anymore. I wish I had died at the end of August 2001, it would have been a wonderful time to die.

Early 2015 was pretty cool. I dated a hooker as my first GF and didnt catch anything. For those short 5 months I had no worries. I would love to relive those moments of waking up beside a chubby qt, making coffee and spending the whole day watching dumb sitcoms and touching each other.
The whole thing was just a fluke, and life carried on where it left off, 4chan, vidya and masturbation.
