Mate, you must understand, with a full time job, you still spend the majority of your waking hours working. Do you really want to spend most of your time doing something you dont like so you can spend afternoons and weekends playing slightly better vidya on a slightly better computer?
Find what you love, and do it. Pay is irrelevant. Lust for money cannot be quenced, once you have money you will want to buy the next stupid thing, and the cycle will continue forever. You will work tirelessly, hating every day, waiting for the weekend tirelessly, and then doing nothing different on the weekend because you are too tired from a week of work and hate. Imagine doing something you liked! You would come home energized, feeling good about the day. You would wait for the next day of work, and on the weekend, you would feel at ease, for Monday would just be another day.
People will do all sorts of mental gymnastics to convince themselves they like what they do, because it pays well. I know people who have passion for many employable things, but they went to university to get a degree in something they did not like, only to find a job they did not like. They convinced themselves they liked their career choices, and were depressed for other reasons, but I was not fooled. They would wait every single day for the time they got off work, only to sit around watching tv and drinking. On the weekend, they would do the same thing. They spend all the money on "as seen on tv" bullshit, and they will continue to do so until they die.
Most people are in a rut like that. Slaves to the dollar, the pussy, the engine, the bottle, living life waiting for it to get better, right up until the day they die.
