'reality' is a shared experience, 'dreams' are not. for the person experiencing these things, there is no real difference. the reactions in your brain while dreaming are indistinguishable from the ones you have while being awake.
maybe reality is just another dream from which we wake up when we die

Its all reality, you could be completely delusional and be in you're own personal reality that only you see, or other people could also be interacting with you in another reality.
Reality is subjective, if an explosion happens but nothing is aware of it it might as well not be reality.
