Maybe, some people claimed he has same personality disorder as Elliot, but to me he seems like someone completely oblivious/confused and lost, yet not a terrible person.

I sometimes just wish some people would know about how to behave properly, heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Dan got a girl he'd be satisfied with if he knew how to interact with people.

But that's not really going to happen, if he's gone this far without much of a change, his story is likely to end in someone suffering, not sure who though.
