Undateable is actually a really cool show. I'm sure alot of people watch it for entertainment with an "ugly" or "disabled" person going on dates, but they usually do a good job matching people up. A lot of the times the guy who is undateable matches with a pretty cute girl and she really isn't stuck up or dismissive , so I think the match makers do a really good screening process and personality rating and actually take it seriously. I've been watching a couple of episodes on Youtube. This one dude in a wheelchair gets matched up with this smoking hot redhead.

Sorry to burst your bubble but most of the dates are actors, it was proven quite a while ago. The point of the program is to show this issue and give them some experience. This lady he married wasn't part of the show but reached out to him when she saw the program.
