do you mean geek or nerd? I call them both nerds anyway
as one I think it's a funner life than normalfags have. Fiction generates excitement, and fantasy worlds that are immensely interesting.
What do normalfags talk about? They plan to go on a vacation? what they did for work? fucking boring.
The downside is I'm a casual. My friends are more hardcore, and I find it frustrating when they always talk about games and shows I've never seen. So to have anything fun to talk about with anyone you have to watch and play these things just so you can even know what anybody else is talking about. Turning a hobby more into social "work". Making me feel accomplished for watching more shows and playing more games, and making me feel left out for not having watched or played said games and shows

I have been called nerd, but i'm casual mostly and i don't really care. It's way funnier to make fun of nerds who get assblasted by that name, like someone really thinks that you need to have some sort ritual of passing that you can be a "real nerd". /v/ in general is fun to make fun of because they get so butthurt by it.
