Honestly I think sometimes it's better to just walk away then continue fighting against a brick wall so to speak.
I mean sure you can "think" and "feel" like you won but sometimes it doesn't end until someone is the bigger man and chooses to walk away, though I can see how it's a euphoric feeling because I've been in that same situation. I've also been in the other situation where I felt 10x better after I closed the thread and walked away from the argument, no sense in getting platinum mad over a stranger that you don't even know and you'll never meet also you'll both forget about the argument in a few hours.
People have internet fights and after like an hour at best neither one of them remembers it or even cares who won or who lost so it's pointless in the long run to spend hours on a stranger.
