No she wasn't. She was interrupting me and family, her job is to wait on us while we eat, not do it regardless of what we're doing. Imagine If I was in the middle of talking and she did that. It's not about privacy, it's about respect. Waiters are serving you, that's what you're paying for at a restaurant.
