I've never had a bad experience with women directly related to height. I had one woman show complete contempt at the fact that I was skinnier than her despite being a bit taller but that's it.

That's not what I meant. I meant that growing up I was told to be all nice and respective about women, but never really was it mentioned that if I just stuck it out a little longer, or moved faster, it'd turn girls on and make them want me more. I was raised by a single mom who just existed as a woman and had guys come hit on her, therefore her idea of putting yourself out there isn't asking a guy out on a date and pushing for sex/a relationship, it's walking over to a guy and making conversation, and leaving it up to him to take you to bed. I'm not blaming her but the point is that I had no male role models in my life, and I just thought that being a 'Nice Guy' and "letting her come to you" was the right way to do things.

Maybe it's because we're told to respect women and their decisions, but we realize that it's rigged. We realize that we are conditioned to "respect" women and never try to "force ourselves on them", meanwhile we have been brow beaten and manipulated into treating women a certain way even when the reverse is almost never true.
You can kind of see how this whole "respect women" meme goes too far, it's when they start making decisions that are bad or illogical, and people call them out on it. The woman responds with shit like "my body, my rules" or "stop oppressing me!!" or "ugh, so I'm not allowed to have standards?" but what it really feels like she's saying is "I should be allowed to do what I want however I want, and I'm going to be picky as hell and flaky as hell when it comes to relationships, and there's nothing you can do about it".
Especially when you end up being that guy who's not really desirable to women, because he was born the wrong height, or the wrong race, or whatever. Women don't really understand this. They understand not being desirable because they're fat, and they try to equate it for not being desirable because they are short, but being fat is something you can control. Height isn't.
At this point, I start to worry that I'll never be able to trigger those intense feelings of attraction and desire that are necessary for a proper, long term, sexual/romantic relationship, never mind just "getting laid".
