Just got back from vacation with my family, including my uncles side from out of town. I never was close to my cousin, but we spent most of the trip joking and talking about our jobs. Every once in a while I caught her stealing glances at me at dinner or during movies. She's in her late 20's now and hasn't had a long term boyfriend (that I know of).

As far as I know, my parents don't know it yet (hers neither since they died 4 years ago), but other family members want us to break up. They are still cool enough to hide it from the older ones in the family, but after 4 years they still can't get used to it and want us to stop the relation.
My friends do understand me since they always found my cousin "extremely hot", but don't approve it neither.
And other people who know us, but aren't really close to us sometimes look in disgust when walking together arms in arms etc. (we lived in a very small town, everyone kinda knew each other.)
