You can memorize songs, build computers, and design games in your mind if you're smart.

Your hobby should be something that provides value to your life, not costs value. Why don't you learn coding or get fit or do music?

All of your listed potential hobbies are endlessly consuming.

Dice are nightmare to find if you are third world, or even yuropoor.

Play magic duels, it's f2p, quite buggy but it's easy to grind the card without paying, also there are alternatives like cockatrice but those don't have the rules coded in the game, it's like playing paper magic basically.

I do not.

you don't need dice anymore, there are plenty of tools for this online like roll20.

well obviously you can't have hobbies you can't afford, I would love to have sailing, deep sea fishing, mountain biking and surfing as hobbies but I can't afford them so I do other things that I can afford, quit whining about how much your life sucks and do something about it.

There are three types of hobbies really, ones that create(drawing, playing an instrument, getting /fit/), ones that consume(listening to music, playing games, reading), and ones where you spend(all of the ones op listed).

Hobbies that create are the most fulfilling, generally don't cost you as much, but have you earn that, it takes effort.

Hobbies that consume are less fulfilling, but it's good to have them as a source of inspiration/entertainment and they make you a more rounded person. They generally require some amount of money(unless you pirate everything), and a slight amount of effort.

Hobbies where you spend are the easier, least fulfilling, and generally worst types of hobbies to have. They ask nothing of you other than that you spend money on useless shit and give you a minor(false) sense of accomplishment in return. You don't need these in order to be a well rounded person, they don't provide anything meaningful to you, and they may make you content with your mediocrity and prevent you from improving yourself/your life.

All of op's hobbies fall into the third category(First hobby is collecting vinyl, not listening to music. The actual playing of magic does also fall into the second category)

>vinyl
>expensive
You can do Vinyl on the cheap. I lucked out and got most of the shit free before it became the cool thing, but it'd still be possible to do it now.
You just have to avoid the wanky stereotypical shit like Dark Side of the Moon and memequipment, which is where it gets expensive.

I personally listen to East German music. Catchy, supports socialist values and only costs a euro per disc. Why not enjoy classics like Modern Soul Band and Die Puhdys? Mind you I record them onto tape for portable listening as well.

please teach me

there's a record store where I live but all they have is shit like obscure-ass blue note records and ringo starr's stop and smell the roses

everything online is like $15-$30 a pop

It is human nature to seek what you dont or cant have, greed builds empires and mountains from naught
>>
I'm poor so all my hobbies are free.
I pirate most of my video games and all of my music, anime and films. I exercise, too, but I dont go to the gym. Still look decent.
Idk it's not hard to be poor you dont even need a good computer to play a lot of games or learn something new.

Look for markets and the like.
You'll usually find lots of old stuff on the cheap.

Online is a convenient but very expensive way to go.

The worst part was i got disqualified from the military on Dec 20th, recruiter got word and texted me that I got pq'd five days before Christmas, by far the most depressing Christmas ever, looks like I'm starting 2016 as a wagecuck.....if I can even get hired

I would honestly not recommend getting into the buying side of hobbies because it is shit and destroys your psyche.
I maintain a lego collection and I am anxious about getting a multitude of sets and pieces anymore because of their rarity and how much they cost in general.
Like for example I would like to have the Nazi motorcycle squad from Indiana Jones 3 but the set based on that scene included modern motorcross bikes instead of fitting older looking models. They made a better fitting piece now but that piece was only in a very popular 2 dollar set available for only a year so it is like 10 euros now for one, so at least 40 euros for what boils down to 4 figures and bikes which would be 20 at most if Lego made a proper set of it, this price difference and the fact that the stuff is so small makes me feel stupid for wanting it. And even then the existing piece is light grey, not dark grey like in the movie and they will most likely never do a dark grey version.
Thoughts like this make up my entire life. All I can do is think about pointless details like this. I wish I could have been a real nerd and learned computer programming after school instead of building with fucking Lego but I can not let it go because it is too much a part of my being. Selling it all would feel crippling because I have no real personality and buying more is necessary because the collection would be useless if it is not perfect or at least good to my standards. I think this is even more retarded than garbage / flea market hoarders.

Just watch movies and tv shows, I do that as a big hobby as well and it is far better since most of it is free thanks to streaming and tv.
I would recommend gaming as well, the computer for 1000 dollars, games are free or can be bought in bundles or for a dollar on steam. It is a high investment up front but after that the costs are peanuts unless you utterly wreck the computer with viruses.
