Well I have been adding things slowly. Keeping up with learning an instrument, trying to get up earlier to do things before work, so on and so forth. Just a few things here and there until I start getting accustomed to them and then when I feel the time is right I add more to my load. Sometimes things stick, other times they don't, that is life.

Getting 30 minute lessons once a week and trying to make time on all other days either practicing songs, scales, or sight reading.
It is all fun. If I get bored of something when I am playing I can hop to something else.
I use to be an art student so I had first hand experience in what an instructor can do with how rapidly you gain skill so I knew I wouldn't get the sort of results I wanted with self teaching.
