It's gotten to the point where I realize I'm about to spiral into a maddening depression, and then I just remember to imagine a separate reality where I didn't get rejected/embarrassed myself.
It's like a mantra, but now I can get over it in a week and forget about it entirely after a year. It's pathetic, and yet apart from the memory issues, seems to keep my body from shutting down entirely.
