i used to hear voices, it was something that would happen occasionally while between the ages of like 18-21
they weren't just voices out of nowhere i think they were just regular everyday sounds like creaking, birds, or people moving around down the hall that began to sound like voices, it's hard to explain. it was a paranoid thing where my brain seemed to be interpreting random sounds as hushed voices, usually talking about me in a critical/mean way
it went away i'd say a year or a year and a half after i stopped smoking. i think it's probably gone for good

oh I hear em all the time I have at least 6 different ones
theres the voice that tells me I suck

Hallucinations by Oliver Sacks might interest you. Basically hearing voices doesnt indicate schizophrenia, it's not a big deal, but you still might get locked up if you tell anyone.
