I deal with it by not looking at mirrors

i had mild kyphosis for the past 10 years and recently got it corrected through chiropractic work

the only downside is that i constantly feel like i'm leaning forward when i'm standing with good straight posture

Yeah. One way I found is to try to stand as tall as possible without standing on your toes, and keep your chin up so that you literally look down on people.

Though I have to keep reminding myself of assuming this posture all the time.

Also try to keep your arms back.

I lifted for a good while and got bad posture because of it. Now I'm on physical therapy for a shoulder injury.
