Is time moving too fast? I can't believe it's 2016 already. I'm personably still stuck going through media released pre-2011. On some YouTube videos for games or music that came out 4-7 years ago there's people already taking about nostalgia and the good ol days like boomers talking about the 60s. What's going on? Oversaturation?

Yeah looking up anything from my teenage years (2000s) yeilds those type of comments. Maybe it's the quality or just people growing up to fast.
I personally would love to go back to pre-recession times. too fast indeed.

It's like we had an end of an era and there's no new one at all. Just all the radio station around play stuff from 1990- early 00s. Too many new releases coming out too soon.
seems when I was just a young lad we imagined the 201X to be this amazing future period....and now it's basically the same as the 200X's with more tablets and smartphones and less economic opprotunities

Not even that but it's the years are not even memorable. The year 2012 or 2013 has far less meaning when someone talks about 1992 or 1985 or some other decades years. I don't know how to describe it at all but that what it seems to be.

It is because as you age, your concept of time gets shorter. When you were younger, a year is a good percentage of your lifetime.
