I do not neccesarely look for a significant other which watches anime or what not, I barely watch them myself. Besides I've meet ones which were into drawing just as me, and well, some of them were actually nice and fitted the typical pure and charming cutie image, even ended up in a relationship with one. I wouldn't say that's impossible, besides, that's no requirement, as for the pure part, well, that kinda is, it's just unsettling to think otherwise. So as for the anime people thing you're speakng of, can't quite tell. But what's more important, as you mentioned, is to try and cope with the loneliness, at least for the time being. Until one either finds hapiness, love, fulfillment and what not, or simply dies.
