Never had nicotine before in my life, will cigars get me addicted? I don't plan on smoking them everyday, just once in a while. I don't want them to dry out or go bad either, since they're really nice looking.

Cigars are fine man, most cigar smokers do it a few times a month at most. Even doing it every weekend isn't enough.
Cigars also aren't "convenient" like cigarettes are, you can't just pop on in and finish it in 3 minutes during lunch break or pick up a new pack at gas station.

Nicotine addiction/tolerance is completely genetic. I used to smoke for the head buzz, but when it stopped I was ok with quitting for a while since it wasn't pleasurable anymore. I'll admit it was very tempting to smoke when offered, and I was very irritable for the first couple weeks not smoking, but it was worth it since I got the head buzz back after waiting a couple months. Now I vape with high nicotine e-juice since it is a lot more healthy for you than cigarettes, and now I only smoke 1 or 2 a week for special occasions, but taking breaks aren't very hard knowing I'm doing it to keep up a low tolerance.
I doubt you'll get addicted to nicotine through cigars, but just keep in mind about your family and if any of them are heavy smokers. Some people can smoke a little and never do it again while some smoke one cigarette and they never stop until they die.

But both my dad and mom were heavy smokers, my mom had to stop because he had another kid and my dad just kept smoking until a heart attack killed him.
