/mathgrad/ here. Working as an adult maths teacher now. Comfy subject. Comfy job.
When the classes are doing tests I sits and do old complex analysis problems at my desk from united days and get paid to do it.

Also remember doing banach spaces as part of my applied o.d.e.'s course. Super hard at the time.
