You just cant deny the direct correlation between wealthy parents and the success of their children. And while there is nothing wrong with a wealthy parent wanting to give their child the best possible future for them through education, it does mean that they inherited a privilege they never earned. I'd say the wealthy deserve their success if they understand the value of work and struggle
Why the fuck do they have to identify certain paths to privileged status as being undesirable? Why not just go the full route and say all those in a privileged position, i.e. all those who get to go to college, need to check their privilege.

Someone could work exactly as hard as I did, but not have the rich and well connected parents and there is a very good chance they wouldn't have even made it into uni.
Without the strong guiding mentors they may not have even been able to make it graduating high school, due to drugs or domestic violence or whatever.
The deck was stacked in my favor and I leveraged it to the best of my ability, giving me an unfair advantage.
