the idea behind disability is that you can't work because you're so fucked in the head, so it's sort of counter-productive to get a job as it will decrease your benefits earnings.

also I'd recommend learning a trade, you don't need to be smart or sociable to do most of them and they'll still pay a healthy amount of money because people are too lazy to learn how to change their oil / unclog their toilet / etc
