2bh it's a pretty good guarantee that you'll end up undersocialized. Without the shot at developing social skills, your entire life will lag behind, stunting your ability to achieve the normal markers of success and likely leaving you with severe emotional problems that are both caused and perpetuated by your isolation.

By the time I reached college age. Basically once people reach 18-20, they realize that only children usually end up autistic.

Is it rare to be the only child. You would think that most people grew up without siblings.

I'm here f.a.m. I'm relatively successful (partner at law firm and have had serious relationships with [albeit crazy] girls). I'm hitting 30 next year and still struggling with certain social situations. I'm in a position to be way more alpha than i am, but remain beta as to avoid the social pressures accompanying alphadom. So basically, yes- you're kinda fucked. If you want to grow as a social being, it will take an immense effort, but you can make a realtive success of life if you make an effort to.
