My boyfriend is ugly as fuck. He's extremely fat and balding. He is in his 20s but looks like a 45 year old man because of his balding.
A lot of my classmates from high school saw me holding hands with him, and they laughed at me as usual. They thought I was dating some old guy (he looks old since he's balding) and told me I had daddy issues.
Not that I care too much about what other people think, but this guy was seriously fucking ugly and I wasn't attracted to him. I only went for it because I thought having some experience with boys would help me in my future relationships, but honestly I feel so much more damaged now. I've lost a lot of respect from family members and friends for dating such an ugly guy.
I already broke up with him, but how do I get over the shame of having been seen with him in public? Will I ever be able to get over this blow to my reputation?
