Wonder, are there any NEETs on here from Australia on the bux? Wondering what your standard of living is and whether you live alone.
Ex-NEET in Australia here. I lived, actually I still live, at home. Standard of living? Australia is pretty good. Even the poorest people seem to have enough to buy themselves food and alcohol.

Hm. Interesting. Just doing fact checking, as I'm on shaky mental grounds and have attempted (and failed) three different jobs on day one. Just trying to calm my anxiety that, if I do end up on the bux, it won't be hunger or near homelessness. Plus net would be good to maintain.

My mum pays for everything
Living the life desu... the NEET life
How much do Australian's get?
In NZ it's like $137-$230 NZD depending on living circumstances.

how new r u?
$480 a fortnight.
$400 of that goes to my sister whom I live with.
Standard of living is good. Our country is quite socialist and the government hands out money like candy.
I know this guy who is an alcoholic and can't work because of it. Government considers his addiction to be a disability and he gets a pension.
I'm doing an IT course next year. No idea what will happen after it.
Maybe I'll just keep studying. Better than wage-slaving imo.

Interesting. Thanks for some of the information. Puts me at ease knowing I won't be thrown away as trash like most in the US who can't work.
Any more NEETs from Australia feel free to check in. Would like to get to know more about your standard of living, etc.
I am a neet in australia get $530 a fortnight on newstart, pay $200 a fortnight for board, live with dad and he drives me everywhere and anywhere. I am technically employed but get no hours so I don't need to go to those bullshit waste of space job agencies.
I'm on jobseek dole, get $200 a fortnight due to being classified under living with parents, would be $400 single.
Im NEET but i live at home and we dont have much money, but we get by. She does well despite the fact my non present father didnt pay my mother to take care of me.
Australia is like the perfect country to be a NEET
>always hot, no cold nights because you cant afford heating
>enough NEETbux to live comfortably
>don't have to live among sand niggers if you're poor
