I'm a bit of a sociopath, and I've been wondering about something lately.
Why do people always make a drama out of the parents of a child getting a divorce? People always act like it's going to traumatize the child, and sometimes the child even does start whining all the time. But i honestly don't get why.
Like, if my parents broke up right now, I would understand that it's a big hassle because of the finances and the house and everything. But i honestly wouldn't care on an emotional level.

if you don't understand or value family bonds it's kind of hard to explain
I went through it and it emotionally destroyed me as a kid
