Why aren't you an activist yet, robots?

All of you complain about not having friends, about being rejected for being different, and about how hard it is to meet people. Every activist I know is all about neurodiversity and accepting people who are different, mostly because they're all damaged and broken too. You would be able to socialize with people who value you and what you can do while making your feel better about yourself. And most of the activists I know are all about free-love and are very accepting of non-standard body types. If you have a heartbeat, you can get laid in the activist community.

Seems to me, robots, like activism is an ideal way for you to make friends, gain skills, and get laid.
>>
>>25325263
Because I don't believe in neurodiversity. I don't believe I deserve to be accepted.
>>
>>25325263
Because it is literally about converting people to one's cause and I loathe the very idea of this.
>>
>>25325263
because any cause we would support would not make the lives of people like us better

supporters of men's rights are laughed at, feminists don't care about men besides wanting them to spew their logic around without thinking
BLM doesn't want whitebois
and people like us protesting would be met with laughter and comparisons to Elliot Rodgers
>>
Activists don't care about hetero-men. They would hate you just for being yourself. Especially if you're white.
>>
Then I would have to stand up and fight for causes I don't believe in, I want a PARTNER for life, not to get laid. If I wanted to get laid I would hire an escort.

I can't do it, I can't lie to myself to fit in places where I obviously don't belong. If they want to be friends that's great but I'm not going to have them shove their beliefs onto me and shun me if I don't (pretend) to adopt them.
>>
>>25325305
Er... so you support causes which would make your life even worse than it is? How is this not like a Jew supporting the Nazi Party? That makes no sense at all.

>>25325340
I've been an activist and organizer for 25 years and while there are plenty of overprivileged white college radicals in the scene playing at harder-core-than-thou, there are also plenty of really cool, down-to-earth people. The idea that social movements are full of granola-eating hippies and mentally unbalanced, man-hating lesbians is a totally untrue stereotype promulgated by the sorts of people activists are fighting against.
>>
That would require becoming an SJW, signing up for tumblr and supporting bernie sanders. I rather kill myself.
>>
>>25325421
"SJW" doesn't mean what you think it does. Here's an interesting article on the origin of the term:

https://medium.com/@petercoffin/sjw-the-bigot-bleep-eb1196dda923

"SJW" was actually coined by *activists* to describe the kind of loud, strident "clicktivists" and "slacktivists" you find congregating on social media who believe that clicking a "like" button makes you a hero of the revolution.
>>
>>25325421

>being so fucking retarded you actually think college SJWs with tumblrs = activists.

Holy fuck, you're genuinely intellectually impaired.
>>
>>25325340
I'm a gay, mentally ill transsexual with a personality disorder, and those people still hate me for any break from the party line. There is no winning, anon, the only way to win is not to play the game.
>>
>>25325411
>I've been an activist and organizer for 25 years

Ah, so you are 'socially awkward' in addition to incurably depressed by now? My, your mental illnesses amass almost at the rate at which you diagnose them in others.

>implying being a contemplative isn't the superior lifestyle
>>
>>25325411
that's what I'm getting at
all of the major causes in the media and that robots coudl go support are ones that would make their lives worse

feminism harms men through overzealous policies that raise women above them, BLM has a hatred for whites and there have been quite a few race riots in my area in its name

I'm saying there are no good causes, unless you intend for robots to go pretend to be vegan to go nail some vegan girl
>>
>>25325411
>Granola-eating hippies and mentally unbalanced, man-hating lesbians

I have been swayed

I might try to get in with the activist crowd, I however refuse to stick my head up someone's ass (other than my own of course) and blindly support causes with implications unknown
>>
>>25325524
Maybe you just haven't found the right group yet. I went through many different organizations before I found some that suited me. Not every one is going to be ideal for you. There's a wide variation in the character of different groups, and I can promise you that there is one out there which would love to have you if you're willing to spend some time looking.

>>25325534
I've always been socially awkward, Anti-Buddha. And I've always been very clear about that. In fact, it was being spokesperson for a controversial organization which forced me to stretch my limits and learn how to manage stress. In time, I eventually ended up hosting two of my own radio shows -- despite having social anxiety so bad that I've come close to fainting when I'm in crowds. That's what activism can do for people.

Kindly do anons a favour and post the infographic about you have made and been posting about me, so that we are all informed about what your brand of activism and organization routinely entails.

Hey man, I've been involved in activism for 25 years, and not once have I ever kissed anyone's ass or remained quiet when something bothered me. Have I been socially snubbed for it? Sure, once in a while. But you'll find less of that among activists than you will elsewhere, since they tend, on the whole, to be more conscious about not silencing divergent opinions.

Every single one of those things is true. You are cancer personified and probably the person responsible for turning r9k into a containment board for mentally ill autist shut-ins.

You're becoming mellow.

>>25325621
I've never been interested in activism. I only got involved because activists purporting to represent my interests were doing a shit job. I gave up when I was eventually chased out of trans spaces by tumblritis because I'm stealth and male-passing and don't think ghost and mermaid are genders. Now all I do is volunteer as a cook at summer camps and ignore all of the shitty radiqueers and histrionic babies.

Also, it is nearly interesting how you have long chosen the radicalization route. Instead of conceding the absurdity of some of your lies in there ('reads literally every thread' is just one example), you have long chosen to always deny authoritatively... and have been long reducing yourself to appealing to people who don't read your claims so to find the glaring inconsistencies. As I explained long ago, you are narrowing your appeal to people who are attracted to form (such as the abuse in that thread) over substance. (This underlies your having eventually targeted 'the homeless and panhandlers'). This is, incidentally, the mentality of a sect leader. You don't care how much you lose in the eyes of the majority as long as there is a minority you can impress, that doesn't let inconsistencies and lies overshadow their attraction to displays of violence.

But this has never been imporant.

Sounds to me like you were orbiting in the circles that I actively avoid. Frankly, I don't blame you. I've been banned from womyn's centres and kicked out of "radical" organizations for not toeing the party line, myself. But you should know that these people are the *minority*. There's plenty of groups out there who do their work effectively and aren't interested in looking harder-core-than-thou on Facebook.

If you can find the patience to join a few different groups, I can almost promise that you'll find one that suits you. I've always found the IWW to be pretty good place to start since they have 110 years of experience and started in the working class, not academia.
>>
fuck off tumblrn

>You don't care how much you lose in the eyes of the majority as long as there is a minority you can impress

(Which is, incidentally, another thing that betrays that you are a coward, next to your tendency to burden people with responsibility for their lives ('you need to embrace your free will so to fix your life!') so to avoid having to help them. You are too afraid of owning up to have wronged others, so you comfort yourself that even though you are being judged for this cowardice by the majority, you will always have your group of followers to look up to you as a 'rebel'.)

These are all of the relevant local organizations I'm talking about. I've been around for a while There's some good with the bad, but I don't have the patience or desire to stick it out. I've seen some positive outcomes from the right people knowing how to fight, but it's often mitigated and then claimed by the same people who turn us away from ourselves. I'd rather ride the progress wave and live out my solitude blissfully removed from the sewers of justice.
>>
>>25326303
This picture, not-really-anon, is strictly a sermon to the choir. It has been designed to appeal to people whom you expect to repost it and makes strictly no attempt to convince the rest. As you have all the time been aware.
>>
>>25326361
>>25326303
Still... if there is even one person whom your rhetoric will have convinced to stay out of activism... My sacrifice will not be in vain.
>>
>>25326335
Your choice, man, but it's been my personal experience that the time and energy I've invested in activism has paid off handsomely. I went from being shy, awkward, and riddled with anxiety to hosting my own radio shows, running for public office, and being comfortable with having my ugly, hairy mug on the cover of every newspaper in the country. It's not necessarily what you can do for the cause which makes me encourage robots to join up, but rather what a few small victories will do for robots in terms of confidence and self-esteem.

>>25326303

In other words, OP's progression has been:

<'He's mentally ill!'
>'What? Nonsense. I've personally seen mentally ill people and he displays nothing of it. Fuck off.'
<*OP leaves*

<'He's mentally ill!'
>'Proof? Citations? Professional diagnoses?'
<*OP leaves*

<'He's mentally ill!'
>'Why?'
<'He rants! He is incomprehensible! This is what mental illness is!'
>'Oh, ok, clearly you know what you're talking about.'
<*OP stays*
>>
>>25326437
That honestly sounds terrible.
>>
>>25326567
(It is a minor shame I can't quite quote the many threads in which OP, after claiming that one can 'just throw one's past away and embrace the life of a vagabond' for instance, embarks on his regular route of calling his detractors, who point out the infeasibility and irreality of that scenario, first -- cowards, then -- people who want to keep robots down and display crab mentality, and finally -- using more and more insults in the 'wallowing autist' vein -- eventually accusing them of mental illness.)
>>
>>25326652
But again, it is purely a numbers game.
>>
I was honestly thinking awhile ago that I want to start a social movement to encourage more women to take the initiative to approach guys. It's pretty ridiculous that this barely ever happens even in 2015. There are a ton of shy guys like me that can't approach women and I think this would make everyone happier.
However I'm not really sure how to get it off the ground. I guess I need a hashtag or something.

If you really want to make effective change, you need to get some training. Organizing is a highly skilled, highly specialized profession. There are people and organizations which are willing and capable of teaching you if you're interested. I recommend taking an Organizer Training 101 from the IWW as a foot in the door. Most major cities have an IWW branch, and they offer OT 101 courses on a regular basis. (They also offer OT 201 and Training the Trainers courses.)
>>
>>25326902
Do they offer Equivocation 101?
