Two days ago me and a friend decided we were pissed off at all the joy and shit people were having on christmas day. we were both atheists who used to be christians, long story no time, anyway we decided it would be funny to try and summon a demon

We thought it was funny as fuck, stupid edgy devil-worshippers made us lose it back when we posted here more regularly, so we got all the ingredients
Black candles, red chalk, ceremonial cloth, gifts of food, etc etc.
Sunday night, we perform the ritual to summon Orobas.
We chose him because hes alledgedly nice to summoners, and we thought to ourselves, "Hell if this does work, it'd be nice to have a good demon in this place"
we go out to an old shack behind my friends house, and we draw the pentagram and chant a bunch of shit we found on this edgy website.
We were chuckling through the entire thing, but it worked. ITF FUCKING WORKED.

it worked. the candles went out, and the whole room went dark. suffice to say im no longer atheist.
Out of the smoke we see this shape that vaguely resembles a human head, with two embers for eyes. It looked at me and spoke in this normal voice. I cant remember what he said, but i remember agreeing with him. I bent down and smudged the chalk that made the circle, and this huge fucking hairy shape darted out and jumped on my firend. i ran.

I ran to my car and drove off in a panic, the entire way home i could hear a faint whisper from behind me. I would stop the car and look, but nobody was ever there.

My beliefs regarding myths are complex. A paragraph in chapter 19 of Revolt Against the Modern World sums it up pretty well. It's too long for me to quote however so I'll explain myself as best I can.
Indeed these demons do exist objectively and apart from any individual's imagination, but the imagination is the plastic substance these entities use to imprint their form upon us (communicate, intentionally or unintentionally). Every human has psychic abilities (imagination) but some, like me or OP if he is telling the truth have more powerful imaginations. Do you ever feel afraid when you are showering, and need to close your eyes to guard against soap? Do you feel as though you're being watched? Does the image of a ghostly figure pop into your mind's eye? It's one of them, a demon. It's near you and your psyche can feel it, even though you don't see anything. Don't be afraid, just tell yourself it's your imagination and finish washing your hair. It can only hurt you if you're insane or a moron like OP.

It's entirely plausible. OP just said he saw a surreal beast go after his friend, then he bitched out. His friend is likely alive and well. All that happened (assuming the unlikely chance his posts aren't roleplay) was that two cretins imagined Orobas. Perhaps it really was Orobas, but in any case the gravity of the situation is greatly exaggerated.
