There was a study released awhile back that found girls who don't have their biological fathers in their lives actually enter puberty up to two years earlier on average than those who grow up with their biological father.
Stepfather didn't influence it at all, it's biological or nothing. Also it's interesting to note that malnourished women are much more likely to have female children, because even biologically inferior females can reliably reproduce while a weak son would be a genetic dead end.
Basically all women have daddy issues while all men have mommy issues. In fact the majority of men on this board are here because they were emotionally abused by single mothers, or the inverse, formed an emotionally incestuous exclusive relationship with their mothers, never succeeding in teenage rebellion and as such never asserting independence, and are still subjects of their mother's will.

Wow, very accurate. My dad was sort of present but a bit beta. My sister went for a kind of lame guy. My mom was abusive but I also never went through my rebellion phase. So I'm a kv.
