For the last three years (age 24), my hair has been thinning like crazy, especially at the crown.
The crown was basically just scalp, no hair at all.
Started using minoxidil this September, and my crown is back, not perfect, but I can go out in public without wearing a hat out of shame, I literally feel like crying out of joy sometimes. I hope this keeps up.

I'm getting platelet-rich plasma therapy next month to try and fix my thinning crown.
They basically take your blood and throw it in a centrifuge to get out some juicy stem cell and platelet containing plasma which they inject into your scalp. It can cause follicles to start growing hair again.
Apparently it has a fairly good success rate and its not stupidly expensive ($250AUD per treatment), so fingers crossed

I had a slightly receeded hairline for years, but my hair was very thick and nice so it never bothered me. My dad has that exact same hairline and he's almost 60 and with a full head of hair.
