If it does hurt when you apply pressure, take a sewing needle, get the end red hot to sterilize it, and then just push it into the nail and it will release the pressure and it immediately stops hurting. I had to do that a few times before, it works like a charm

I used to cut my nails too far back/rounded and had horrible infection for years.
Let them grow out, cut them square at the end of toe like i said and it was better within a few months.

It's maybe too late now but that's blood, you'll be fine but it can hurt when there is blood under the nail from pressure.
Way to fix is to heat a paperclip till it's hot using stove then press it against the nail and twist it, it will penetrate after one or two tries and let the blood out without hurting you.

I actually had a very similar incident a few months ago. I didn't do anything, and the nail eventually fell off and was replaced by another. Don't worry about it being black/blue.
