wrong, this was corrected at the beginning of when gamergate happened. She was mentioned in an article but never got a good review from sex, or at least it can't be proved.

this happened but not to the extent that zoe claimed. She greatly exaggerated it and was obviously milking it for profit. Plus if you look at the zoe post you can clearly see that she was a manipulative sociopath so it's not hard to think that a lot of her claims are fabricated or just completely not true.
Plus I'm pretty sure those threats came from third parties that wanted to instigate the flame war.

this so much, but it all started when accusations of sexism and misogyny came out of left field when in reality there were really pressing issues concerning legitimate corruption in the gaming industry. Those accusations were brought in to shape the discussion around the accused (gamergate) to explain themselves regarding sexism against zoe quinn when that was never the focus in the first place, and only served as a huge distraction when gamergate should have focused on the problems in the industry.
Also that whole notyourshield thing was a complete waste of time because it was a move that played on the feminist battlefield filled with identity politics, and because of this, gamergate would bring its own downfall.
Really all gamergate had to do was be aggressive in its demands throughout its whole campaign and it would have gone much farther.
It really was the first beta uprising kek.
