How do I actually find friends online? I don't like talking to people IRL and my only internet friend doesn't talk to me that often. I'm getting slightly lonely.

OP, might you consider posting in groups where you have a recognizable screen name? Perhaps Reddit? The more regularly you post the more others will expect to see you on those boards. Joining a group centred on one of your interests will make it that much more easier and enjoyable. How about a pen pal group? That might be fun.
