so what are jobs for people who lack self confidence? I was looking into trucking but no one is going to hire a shy beta wimp like me no matter how good i am driving. No chance of being in any position of leadership, including mcdonald manager.

Computer programming is really the only thing where you need no face to face contact with people.
I'm studying car mechanics, it felt nice at first since I don't have to talk to others in actual work and focus on the work, but then there's the problem of lack of self confidence. For fucks sake even if I KNOW what do to, I still seem to really take my time and doubt myself often or just end up having difficulties to do a task anyway

This. Working in retail helped me a little. I still come home and hate myself if a conversation goes badly and then proceed to think about it all night, but I think I'm getting better. Occasionally I have good days.
