as a 5'8 guy i've kind of given up on dressing well
jeans simply dont fit. cannot find a single pair that fits to my legs and i dont have to cuff up and look like a mongoloid.

Consider learning how to fit and take in your own clothes.
Find jeans and/or other clothes that are as close as possible to fitting already, and properly adjust them where needed. Find someone with a sewing machine (friend, family member, etc) you could borrow if you can't or won't buy one yourself (they can be pricey), and find DIY info on the net. There's a LOT of info out there; I've had several jeans that were too wide or too long and whatnot (regardless of your height it can be a struggle finding that right width+length combination at times) which now fit almost perfectly.
Or, of course, you can simply get them tailored as most people do. It can cost you some depending on what you get tailored where, but you'll be quite certain to get (relative) quality for it.
