I'm normally pretty happy alone, or at least not too lonely, but last night I had a dream about this girl I've been crushing on for a year or two now. We shared a brief, quiet conversation and then laid on the couch together. It was short and simple but it felt as real as anything else, and it was probably the happiest I've felt in years.
I tried to desperately hold on to how that dream made me feel, but it slips away, sooner or later.
