Is it a good idea to learn a language to get a job?
Since I'm a ween I'm considering seriously learning japanese, not just for games and anime but for a living.
What do you guys think?
I think you're retarded if you expect to get a job from learning Japanese. Your best bet would be to teach English in Japan and learn the language for convenience.

If you plan to actually spend a significant amount of time in Nippon, or working with people from there, yeah I guess it's a good plan. Have fun with kanji.

How are you supposed to teach English to Japanese people without knowing Japanese?

Have you ever gone outside of an English speaking country?

As a polyglot, employers have only been interested in my Mandarin and Arabic skills, and even then it was more of a passing interest.
If you want to move to Japan, learn Japanese. Otherwise, you won't get much practical use out of it.
