The only reason you care about her "cheating" on her boyfriend, is because you want to believe that the girl chose you over him. That you were more than a mere distraction, an outlet for her.

I'm plenty aware that I was probably just being used to fill in a gap in their relationship, that she never wanted my attention but really wanted his (her boyfriend) attention.
