Are they not smart enough to realize all female patients are egocentric attention whores and males (not all, though) have more genuine problems?
I don't care if my therapist never even thinks of me once after I leave that room. They pretend to care and listen for the duration of the session and that's enough for me.
I have literally nobody else. They're my only friend. And a fucked up, one-sided friendship is still a friendship.
